Katherine Worthington

Stone Carver & Sculptor

London Hippodrome - Lion

2007 - 2008 Leicester Square, London, UK.

Katherine made a model to aid this carving of a lion statue. The lion is in a heraldic pose with his hind legs resting on a chariot. The lion stands proud at 2 metres tall carved in sandstone. See her matching unicorn.

As a gift to Lord Salisbury she was carved a small lion for a book end. This was carved out of the original stone.
