The Portland stone font was designed, carved and installed by Katherine. The design was to keep in fitting with the original altar and tabernacle and their architectural features. She also supplied the stainless steel bowl, which can be removed for drainage.
She constructed a more substantial concrete foundation for the font to be pinned to, removing the existing parquet flooring.
