Katherine’s loves carving her stone Wall Art. It is her version of painting or drawing but in stone. It has no limitations allowing her to carve a landscape, portrait, or other. She enjoys carving close up detailed leaves and foliage influenced by her love of nature and her architectural carving of decorative leaves.

She draws on her sculptural skills which can be seen in the stone carving creating the illusion of 3D in a 2D form. She carves in both realistic and immpressionistic styles. People comment on how delicate and detailed her carvings are.

They make an ideal gift and can be embellished with carved letters; such as a name, date or special phrase. They can also be gilded or painted.
