Katherine has restored and repaired London's most prestigious statues and monuments ; carving large heraldic shields, beasts and figurative sculptures. She believes realism is the hardest art form to carve in uncompromising stone. On taking on a figurative commission (animal or human) she will study the subject producing a model prior to carving it in stone. She also studies modelling from the human figure and takes adult college courses for her professional development.
She also repairs sculptures , makes statues and carves new heraldic statues .
